Preventative Dentistry services
Overview
Pediatric dentistry involves care that is specific to babies, toddlers, children and teenagers. We aim to make your child's dental visit as comfortable and relaxed as possible. At all times, we use kid-friendly terminology so that your child can feel calm during their appointment. With preventative care, we can help to keep your child's smile looking its best for life.
Why is Preventative Dentistry necessary?
Dental care is incredibly important when it comes to your child's smile. It is recommended that children first come in for a dental checkup by their first birthday or 6 months from the eruption of their first baby tooth. We are here to provide your children with the care that they both need and deserve.
Who is a candidate for Preventative Dentistry?
All children and teens are good candidates for preventative dentistry. We will help to monitor the health of your child's teeth as well as the growth and development that is happening as they grow up. As they reach about seven to eight years old, we can even consult with you regarding orthodontics. Because children tend to be more susceptible to tooth decay, regular appointments are a must for improving the health of their teeth.
